The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting a Game of the Year edition tomorrow, but that’s not all that’s happening to Geralt and pals. The game’s also getting a fairly significant update, which brings the game up to version 1.30 and fixes a host of glitches and other issues.
The patch is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC tomorrow. Among other things, it adds PlayStation-controller prompts to the PC version of the game if you’re using that input device, and also addresses some issues with the Steam controller. A few bugged quests can now be completed, and a strange-sounding glitch that involves missing horse tails has also been fixed.

My experience wasn’t blocked by any of these issues – thank goodness – but it’s nice to know that it’s still being supported. That missing horse tail issue in particular sounds horrifying. Those things are there for a reason. Yuck.
